The Friday workshop, led by Judith Harrington, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT/University of Montevallo and Steve Sweatt, LPC-S, LMFT/Community Grief Support, will address the differences between aftercare for attempt survivors and survivors of suicide loss; how to deliver effective postventive care (aftercare) for the suicidally bereaved; how to distinguish between normative grief and suicidal bereavement, and clinical areas of concern.

The University of Montevallo (UM) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 4323. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. University of Montevallo and Community Grief Support (CGS) are solely responsible for all aspects of the program.

A total possible NBCC 8 CE credit hours are available (2/Thursday, 6/Friday, or 8/Thursday & Friday).
