HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS
holidayhope

Just because you "always" did certain things during holidays does not mean you have to continue. Every tradition began with the first time. Your life has changed - you can choose how to celebrate (or not) during the holidays.

If the "Happy" went out of your holidays when your loved one died, come discover there can still be...

HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

November 10, 2012 at The Bethesda Life Center in Ensley

November 17, 2012 at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood
Details and Registration available in August 2012.

After a loved one dies, life's celebrations can be difficult to face. Join us for our annual inspirational program, Hope for the Holidays. Learn practical ways you can cope with the holidays - not just from Thanksgiving through New Year's, but for all those special days that touch our hearts.

As one participant observed, "It was wonderful, emotional, healing and funny all at the same time. I needed this!"

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Steve Sweatt, LPC/LMFTSteve Sweatt

Let Steve rekindle your hope as he shares inspirational ideas and practical coping tips to prepare you for the holidays without your loved one. Steve has led "Hope for the Holidays" programs for many organizations. As our Clinical and Agency Director, he works with support groups, individuals, couples and families struggling with a wide variety of issues following the death of a loved one. Steve is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and serves as Adjunct Professor of Counseling at Samford University. He received the 2011 "Outstanding Counseling Alum of the Year" from the University of Montevallo.
